Wow, this is a good point. I understand what you mean, but just having come from being very involved in a church to leaving it all behind and now searching for a church home in a new state. Wow, it is all about a personal relationship with Christ. Desiring time with HIM and HIM alone, truly it is our intimate relationship with HIM that makes us who we are, not what we do at our church or on a Sunday morning. I do believe serving in a local church is so very important and desire that back in my life again, but more than that, I desire HIM and sometimes that means surrendering all we have and are to HIM.(even if it means getting out of our comfort zone) HE loves us, no matter what! Trusting HIM, Mom A
I often confuse busyness with spirituality. If I'm heavily involved with my church then my spiritual life should be okay, right? ...if only it were that easy.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
My Hearts Prayer
" Dear Lord, Help me to spread Your fragrance wherever I go. Flood my soul with Your spirit and life. Penetrate me, possess my whole being so utterly that all my life may only be a radiance of Yours. Shine through me and be so in me that every soul I come in contact with may feel your presence in my soul. Let them look up and see no longer me, but only You, O Lord. Let me preach You without preaching, not by words, but by my example. By the catching force, the sympathetic influence of what I do, the evident fullness of the love my heart bears to You. Amen"

Don't judge...love. That is the best I can offer.
that is great! I love it... so simple. yet it encompasses so much.
